Expander Teams provide a unique opportunity to combine spiritual purpose with financial stability while engaging in full-time Kingdom work in the heart of secular city life.

We are seeking families, couples, and singles, ages 18-40 (some exceptions are made), who are ready to commit 5-10 years to establish a city-wide network of Simple House Churches.

House Churches form the building blocks of discipleship in everything we do. As an Expander Team, you will train and coach other house church planters. Your Expander Team training begins by completing our online simple house church training and launching a Simple Church. This hands-on experience equips you with the competency and credibility needed for city-wide ministry, and it connects you with the other volunteer Simple Church planters who are also doing ministry “in the trenches.” When you request more information below, you will be sent a custom link to start your training.

• Mentoring and Training -- Guide and inspire others to establish house churches, nurturing leaders, who in turn will multiply additional house churches in their neighborhoods.

• Building Relationships -- Meet new people through door-to-door prayer walking.

  
  

• Leading and Encouraging -- Facilitate weekly/monthly leaders’ meetings that provide collaboration, accountability, support, and network growth.

  
  

• Organizing City-Wide Events -- Plan and present impactful harvest series that bring people together and spark spiritual renewal.

  
  

• Healing and Serving -- Use medical missionary skills to meet physical and spiritual needs, demonstrating the love of Christ through service.

  
  

• Discipleship -- Walk alongside new believers, providing guidance and support as they grow in faith and start their own house churches.

• Husband & Wife Teams -- Full-Time Compensation

  
  

  In the United States, family teams receive a monthly compensation of $7,500. This reflects the importance of family ministry.

  
  

  • Full-Time Work -- Both spouses dedicate their efforts to Expander Team ministry without taking on additional paying jobs.

    
    

  • Half-Time Option for Spouses -- Family compensation recognizes a spouse working half-time in Expander Teams ministry while also attending to family responsibilities like marriage, training children, and helping with hospitality and Expander Team evangelism.

    
    

  • Fundraising Requirement -- Families raise $3,750 (half of their compensation), which is then matched dollar-for-dollar.

  For single Expander Team members, the monthly compensation is $5,000 in the United States.

    This plan empowers single individuals and families alike to dedicate themselves wholly to the mission while providing financial stability.

As an Expander Team, you are embarking on a life-changing 5-10 year mission that will make an eternal difference in the lives of hundreds of people. During this time, we will mentor and guide you in building a dedicated support network—one that will sustain you with financial resources, prayer, and encouragement as you carry out this mission.

This is more than a job—it’s a calling to transform lives, train, coach, and inspire house church leaders, and create a ripple effect of faith and community across your city!

Singles or couples without children, ages 18-40, are invited to commit one year or more to support and work alongside an established Expander Team.

• Short-term Expanders are responsible for raising 100% of their own funds,

• Student/Short-term teams commit to one year or more of working with an established Expander Team. During this time, we will mentor you in building a strong support network to provide funding, prayer, and encouragement for your mission.

Couples who no longer have dependents and are financially free are invited to dedicate 2-3 years to pioneering new Expander Team work in a city. Both individuals should be in good health to fully engage in this mission.

• Activities and responsibilities align closely with those of a Career Expander Team, as described above.

• Platinum teams commit to a 2-3 year project, where we will mentor you in building a strong support network to provide funding, prayer, and encouragement for your mission.
